Courtesy Call between the Minister and the British High Commissioner on October 14, 2021
Hon. Michael Halkitis, Minister of Economic Affairs received a courtesy call from British High Commissioner Sarah Dickson and United Kingdom Regional Ambassador for Latin America and the Caribbean, Her Excellency Fiona Clouder at the Ministry of Economic Affairs. The meeting discussed the importance of the outcome of the upcoming United Nations Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP 26) to provide meaningful results for Small Island Developing States, areas of collaboration between both countries in international fora and positioning micro and small businesses in the green, blue and orange economies to benefit from the CARIFORUM-UK Economic Partnership Agreement.
