Hon. Michael Halkitis, Minister of Economic Affairs and Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Wade Watson, met with the Executive Director of the Caribbean Export Development Agency, Mr. Deodat Maharaj on Monday 19th October, 2021.
During the meeting matters of mutual interest in the areas of trade, investment and private sector development, among others were discussed. The Agency expressed its desire to lend support to enhancing export capabilities of Bahamian businesses.
Minister Halkitis expressed interest in the Direct Support Grants Programme, which will be launched by Caribbean Export on 22nd October, 2021.
